The Rogge trail – 2nd leg

2nd leg of the Merano water trail

The starting point is the car park near the Ungerichthof tavern, above Caines. Walking along path no. 2, we go down from the Masi Mutlechner farmstead to the upper border of Caines. From there we continue east, and then at the crossing point on the “Annaheim” path we take the Rifiano Rogge path. The path, fairly flat and with beautiful views, goes through woods and fruit orchards, in a northern direction up to the next crossing point. Here we turn first right on path no. 5 and then left, following path 10A and then 10. We go up and down through woods and meadows. At the next junction we follow the downhill path no. 4. We finally reach Saltusio, the end of the second leg of the Merano water trail.
